    Anyone else here married?

Watching Ireland this week is like a marriage.

On Saturday evening I didn't want to know her. Does she know how hard I work (5 hrs a day online excepted )? Does she know how much I care? And she goes and does that? How could she?

I can't see myself forgiving her. It's disgraceful. When we wake up tomorrow I'm still gonna be in a huff. I'm right. She's wrong. No debate.

    New morning.

Team bus drives past me at 5.40pm on Haddington Road.

I LOVE YOU. GO ON IRELAND! GO ON!

I'm hoarse I shouted so much all night.

We're in it together. Forever. Faithful through & through.

Much more demanding than a marriage. At least in a marriage when things go wrong there's always divorce. With this you can't even have a bit on the side. At best you can have a trial separation but you'll always be back because things will be better this time.

I was thrown out of the house by the mother-in-law(emails blocked by the FAI!). But have now returned to the missus.

She's been forgiven...for now. I've let her know that she's on probation and I'm keeping a watchful eye on her...

Quite an interesting perspective you bring to things...

Did you ever own a dog? You know sometimes, you come home and he's after tearing the place asunder, there's plant pots everywhere, the wedding photos are shattered, and your slippers are chewed to rags. All you want to do is get rid of the mongrel, sure why did you ever get a dog in the first place??
So you clean the place up and replace what's broken, and calm down a small piece. Then he comes over and puts his head on your knee, looks up at you and gives a small bark.
And there's nothing you can do but forgive the little pet and love him all the more.

After that blazing row on Sat nite, I felt that she cheated on me & that the relationship was truly over. Didn't want to see her last nite, but was still interested in seeing has her attituted changed, which did show some respect...

I agree that the relationship is still on probabtion & she will have to be on her best behaviour.

It's worse than a marriage. At least when your married and she wrecks your buzz you can slip out and get a sly dirty shag off some oul sl*t to make you feel good about yourself again. Unfortunately when Ireland wreck me buzz slipping off on the sly to watch England doesn't have the same effect.

You can kick f**k out of him first though to make you feel better. You can't kick f**k out of Stan.

My missus pi55ed me off too on Saturday night, the worst it had ever been...... went on the beer and didn't see her again till Wednesday. She said sorry and performed a few of her old tricks and I forgave her. We're going on a weeks holiday to Northern Italy in the new year so I said I'll wait till then and see how she behaves over there before making any permenant decision, she knows she has me in her pocket though the b1tch!!

I posted this up on Weds night after about 8 pints and 3 glasses of wine. I woke up on Thursday morning thinking "****, did I really put that up?". Good to see it wasn't met with the derision I anticipated when I had sobered up on Thursday.

She caught me paying too much attention at her Under 21 equivilent.... Though not the youth set up. That would be inappropriate.

Drinking wine after a match? Good God man are you crazy? Can't believe that admission hasn't been met with derision.
    Wine for the lady.
