Fans kill red-card referee in Uruguay

Uruguayan referee Carlos De Leon Acosta was killed by fans at the weekend after issuing a red card to a player.
The official was attacked by a fanatical band of supporters known as the "Ultras" after they stormed the pitch having seen one of their players sent off.
His death is believed to have occurred when one of the attackers struck Acosta on the head with an iron bar. The culprit is believed to have been identified despite the amount of people involved.
