Definitely underrated - I'm a bit of a blow in of a fan, have only really been listening to them since the Billy Bragg collaborations but as a consequence started listening to stuff like Son Volt, the Jayhawks and Uncle Tupelo...some really awesome stuff, not seen them live yet though ....still trying!

great bands, have stayed listening to them long after some of the other stuff on my lists - i see youve listened to some Wilco too? Amazing the amount of folks (at least those i know) who havent heard of/dont appreciate the Farrar/Tweedy bands. Fckin love the Jayhawks too.

Just looking up at an entrancing moon I'm inspired to create a little spacey, floaty disco playlist as soundtrack to the next hour. A mixture of classic and new.

Giorgio Moroder - From Here To Eternity
Hercules & Love Affair - Raise Me Up
    Cerrone - Je Suis Music
    Kraftwerk - Spacelab
    Cybotron - Cosmic Raindance
Lindstrom & Prins Thomas - Boney M Down
Paul Simon - Diamonds Dub (Tangoterje edit)
Peter Visti - Heaven Is A Disco
Freddy The Flying Dutchman - Wojtyla Disco Dance
    Giorgio Moroder - Chase
    Cerrone - Supernature
    Jean-Michel Jarre - Equinoxe 5
Lindstrom & Prins Thomas - Mighty Girl

Nice little dancey, rhythmic mix I think. A more specific space-related playlist might also be interesting. Have to get a bit of Max Romeo in there anyway.
