Was a nice festival. The ravioli is called Maltschuls (sp) and is excellent. Nice wines but a little light for my tastes.

Oh yeah think I remember going to that now, it was down an ally from the main square and near an old church wasn't it ??
Right across from the old church. Got nice and toasty the afternoon of the game before heading to the square.

That wine festival was the death of a few of us on the Friday night, 12 euros a bottle of wine. Got a few in but the rest of the night was a bit of a blank.
We were lookin' for that spot all weekend!!!
We had great craic there on Friday night walking around the stalls singing 'Doe-me-soe' from the sound of music and humming something by Beethoven or was it Mozart............whoever it was it went down well with the natives.
There'll be snow on that one.
Managed to amass a fine collection of glasses from the winedorf myself, was not to crazy about the cusine though.
We took a dander in on sunday, needless to say i barely remember leaving. wine was flowing very well.
