A song at Lansdowne Road, are you mad, that'll never happen!
Were you Malta, Were you Malta, Were you Malta in disguise!
Resign, now!
Fingers on your lips lads, an sit down, your blocking the view of the suit behind you on a comp ticket. Singing in Lansdowne, dont be ridiculous, what next shouting during the game!!
Dont worry, there'll be no suits in Lansdowne on Wednesday, and anyway, I dont let them shut me up, I dont see why people complain about them, there's one way to shut them up and thats speak up and sing for Ireland! Its not as if we need a karaoke machine to get us to sing a song.
Come on you boys in green!
Stan OUT!
Resign, now!
I would prefer songs about John Delaney being a less than virtuous individual rather than songs directly calling for Stans head
Staunton OUT - GARY MEGSON IN!!! Just for the laugh like....
"If God had meant football to be played in the air, he'd have put grass in the sky." Brian Clough.
You'll NEVER beat the Irish.......you'll just draw with us instead!!!
QUE SERA SERA
WHATEVER WILL BE WILL BE
THE GOOD TIMES ARE HISTORY
QUE SERA SERA

STAND UP FOR THE EIRCOM LEAGUE

YOU'LL NEVER BEAT THE 90's
Who is this guy, Trapper Tony?
Fair lucky that nothing rhymes with 'Staunton' or 'Delaney'
Resign, now!
A bit long but very appropriate...
Now Delaney had a donkey that everyone admired
Temporarily lazy and permanently tired
A leg at every corner balancing his head
And a tail to let you know which end he wanted to be fed
Riley slyly said we've underrated it, why not train it, then they took a rag
They rubbed it, scrubbed it, they oiled and embrocated it
Got it at the post and when the starter dropped the flag
There was Riley pushin' it, shovin' it, shushin' it
Hogan, Logan and everyone in town
Lined up, attackin' it and shovin' it and smackin' it
They might as well have tried to push the Town Hall down
The donkey was eyein' them, openly defyin' them
Winkin', blinkin' and twistin' out of place
Riley reversin' it, everybody cursin' it
The day Delaney's donkey ran the halfmile race
The muscles of the mighty never known to flinch,
They couldn't budge the donkey a quarter of an inch
Delaney lay exhausted, hanging round its throat
With a grip just like a Scotchman on a five pound note
Starter, Carter, he lined up with the rest of 'em.
When it saw them, it was willing then
It raced up, braced up, ready for the best of 'em.
They started off to cheer it but it changed its mind again
There was Riley pushing it, shoving it and shushing it
Hogan, Logan and Mary Ann Macgraw,
She started poking it, grabbing it and choking it
It kicked her in the bustle and it laughed "Hee Haw!"
The whigs, the conservatives,
Radical superlatives
Libr'rals and tories,
They hurried to the place
Stood there in unity,
Helping the community
The day Delaney's donkey ran the halfmile race.
The crowd began to cheer it. Then Rafferty, the judge
He came to assist them, but still it wouldn't budge
The jockey who was riding, little John MacGee,
Was so thoroughly disgusted that he went to have his tea
Hagan, Fagan was students of psychology,
Swore they'd shift it with some dynamite
They bought it, brought it, then without apology
The donkey gave a sneeze and blew the darn stuff out of sight
There was Riley pushing it, shoving it and shushing it
Hogan, Logan and all the bally crew,
P'lice, and auxil'ary,
The Garrison Artillery
The Second Enniskillen's and the Life Guards too
They seized it and harried it,
They picked it up and carried it
Cheered it, steered it to the winning place
Then the Bookies drew aside,
They all commited suicide
Well, the day Delaney's donkey won the halfmile race.
Who is this guy, Trapper Tony?
eh no!
How about
'Bring on San Marino'
'Were going to score in this campaign'
or my personnel favourite
'Its like your playing on pills'

Bohs are going bust.
I for one wont be singing. I also wont be wearing colours. Once the National Anthem is over, that's my participation over.
Have Boot Disk, will travel
it'll be interesting to see how the support pans out after about 10 mins on wednesday....
I can imagine "you don't know what you're doing" will get a few airings if things go pear shaped.
De-laney, wo oh,
De-laney wo-oh-oh-oh
He hasn't got a chin
With him we'll never win
To the tune of the Muppet Show
It's time to face the music
It's time to turn out the lights
it's time to face reality in Merrion Square tonight
