In fairness, the majority of pitches have been crap this year. The only good quality pitch I've seen this season has been Longford. Missed the game in UCD, the pitch there is usually quite good.

Well other pitches are crap but the Markets Field is a whole other level, has to be seen to be believed it's full of sand and manages to bobble everywhere. You can see the hi lights
of last game v derry a nice handy ball forward bobbles about 3 ft off the ground, not good enough even for our crap team
The weather recently has been pretty good for grass growth that was affected by the late snow. Its been wet but the few warmer and sunnier days have made a big difference over the last few weeks. The isssue with Turners Cross pitch has been a lot of use. Markets Field is it maintenance or the ongoing who is going to be responsible for that cost? Nothing desperately bad league wise though. Rolling and aerating at this stage should sort out the worst of the ball bobbling about most places. Derry and Dundalk's pitches have stood up well to the inclement weather so far
Cork fans, is there a new addition to the away end in TC? Looks like a row has been added to the top, maybe wheelchair access possibly, or maybe my eyes need testing, then again I watched soccer rep quite late last night.

100% top marks for Cork on the work they are doing , new toilets , wheelchair access it would encourage you to make Cork one of the away trips to think about bringing your kids/wife too.
We are quick to give out here , so credit where its due
Ageeed, it looks just fantastic with perfectly spaced out seats too for helpers / family / friends attending in that area also.

We have liftoff of the south stand in Tallaght!
That's good to see. That will eventually lead to an 8 K capacity, Cat 4 ground, right? Great to see new stands going up recently at Derry and now Tallaght.
I presume the seats are going to be the same daft uncoordinated mess as the other stands?
The Brandywell is getting a new tenant.

Stute play Saturdays, mid-week would be Tuesday or Wednesday, so no real clashing issues.
