It's an artificial pitch so I don't know if the lines can be changed for football matches. The new stand looks very impressive though.

The remaining works to be completed to re-open the Drumcondra End and refurbishment of the roofs on the Richmond Road/Riverside stands are to be completed by 1st December 2026 in-line with the DCC lease agreement, not sure of the exact schedule but I would expect works on at least one of those to commence during the offseason

Any plans to make the Richmond Road stand roof a cantilever type roof to replace that barn shed type thats current!

Its called a Belfast Roof and it could even be a protected structure depending on when it was installed. I think Ealing Green posted pics of old stadia sith similar structures in football grounds a while back.

From the work that's planned, the only extra capacity will come from reopening the Drumcondra End. That's around 1,000 seats, current capacity according to Wikipedia is 5,750.
I'd like to hear Stuart Byrnes definition of 'regularly'!
