Been through this before here. The seats are random colours to give the impression that its fuller than it might be, á la the Estadio Alvalade in Portugal.
Tallaght Stadium is a quality little place with immeasureable potential so it shouldnt be knocked. Everyone should just be happy for Rovers finally finding a home, which is a fantastic thing for the league.

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
The planning permission has been approved for our new home in Lusk.

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Not sure. Id say there might be some investment from outside the fingal Co. Maybe Anglo Irish Bank, OH wait
The facility will be created to promote different sports in the north county area. It will have facilities for soccer, GAA and Rugby amongst others. Sporting will be tenants.

"they are the model club for the league"
Sell your ground,
wander aimlessly for a generation,
spend stadium development grants on players and wages,
rack up loads of other debt to the point of extinction,
pay back creditors 4%,
leave the party for a year,
finally get act together,
hop back in to SDCC stadium with no outlay,
stick a few ads on the LUAS
and suddenly theyre an example to us all...
thats some great long term strategic planning from Rovers!!
Jealous?? Of course i am, we're only at stage one of that strategy and we cant even f*ckin do THAT right!!!

I recognise that with red and black tinted glasses on it's difficult to differentiate between those who did points 1-4(and caused point 5) and those who took over at point 5.
However I would wager anything that if you took those glasses off you would jump at the chance to have the current Rovers board(or a Bohs equivelant in terms of quality and ideas) as opposed to the dumb and dumber show you have at the moment. I know I would.
The way the club are running themselves NOW is an example to all LOI clubs on how to do it right when you get the chance. I hope we can do the same in the future.

In fairness the Kilcoyne's completely shafted the Club & Supporters back in the early 80's by disgracefully flooging off Glenmalure Park and pocketing the lot. If they knew then how land prices were going to go through the roof, they may have held onto the ground a little longer and there may have been the funds for Rovers to re-build elswhere with being a drain on the economy of SDCC...
Rovers were buggered once the ground was gone. Personally think it's good that they have a permanent home once again in their traditional South Dublin base....
damn you both GTID and micls.
We deal with FACTS! on this messageboard - not history, reason and circumstance.
