How does our pitch not meet regulations?
Hunky Dorys Park - could be worse, we could be going to Old Trafford every other week

Just on the pitch inspection : all the tests have to analysed. No official results have been given but club do not anticipate any problems.

Think it takes a few minutes, if it turns blue then yes, if it turns red then no....

Not enough space between it and the hordings, I think.
You can't spell failure without FAI

When the stands collapse that problem will go away. So no worries.

The seats are a joke though. Wtf were they at??? Even I'd be getting a little excited looking at that tbh. Don't tell anyone though

So does United Park meet these dimensions?

The minimum size of the playing area is therefore:
    • Width 68.5 m (75 yds)
    • Length 104.5 m (115 yds)

Heh, since it's just down the road from me I might end up at more Rovers than Youths games!

Well you are the one who said the pitch didn't meet criteria and alleged the FAI are allowing the Drogs to play with a pitch that doesn't meet requirements. So you tell me what the pitch dimensions are to back up your statement.
I only asked how it didn't comply. I have no idea of the pitch size and had no idea of the requirement

I've searched for details on DUFC's pitch size but can't find any. I certainly recall plenty of stuff from DUFC themselves on why United Park couldn't be used for the premier without the derogation due to the new ground and these included space issues.

It was extended 2 years ago. Still no idea what the size is.
So in summary lets throw Dundalk out and keep Drogheda in

1.0 That's the same chairman that said at the same meeting that none of the Directors were involved in the Stadium relocation for the money and they had only the interests of DUFC at heart!!

2.0 I measured the length of United Park using Auto-Cad. It is LESS than the minimum requirement. Did the FAI even measure their own pitch as part of the licensing procedure?

    and finally

3.0 I would have been of the opinion that United Park had one of the best playing surfaces. Did you see the state of the surface on Tuesday evening? If its like that before the start of the season what will it be like next October. It appears that pitch maintenance work fell by the way-side due to your finance troubles.

Neale Fenn on retiring: 'I think once you finish you might as well finish rather than making all sorts of comebacks.'
