Is the newly planned stand in Tallaght going to be the same structure as the existing one?

Rovers are copying the new stand in Terryland, according to one of the newspapers last week. (I think it was the Indo)

    Nice stand.
But when i was up there i couldn't help thinking they were losing out on sets by having it so high up also the roof is like the curragh road stand down here way too high. For atmosphere yer stand across the way seems a lot better.

Yeah, Longford is about 50km closer to Sligo than Galway is.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

That'd be OK - travelled to Flancare for Longford's euro games - its a handy trip, less that 2 hours from Dubland - would love to see Sligo in Europe, but can't afford the time for a night away.

Sorry MR.MY POSTS ARE GREAT I AM SMARTER THAN THIS WHOLE FORUM .
A lot of people are not willing to commit so a season ticket as they want to see where the club are at in 6 month's time.I have mine though. Also a former "club official" if you want to call him/her that was telling people not to buy season ticket's.If you think we will have 800 season ticket holders again this year you're only kidding yourself

I did not say we have 800 or that we would have 800, in fact, I said sales are down!
we did have 330ish by christmas - and sales have been going well in the last week or two

we should hit 500 if we havent done so as of yet but 800 will probably be a stretch too far

    serioulsy though

read and then think before you post

corkboy360, you need to monitor your attitude and behaviour. Dont look to exacerbate or aggravate situations. You need to take the initiative in this yourself. Stop taking things so personally and attacking other posters.

Tallaght looks great, except for those god awful seats. Who's idea was that and why?? It cheapens the look of the stadium. Any name for the ground, apart from Tallaght Stadium?

Is that where the tax payers money is going?
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

All four floodlight pylons were installed at Tallaght yesterday and I have to say I think these are the biggest pylons I've ever seen at a stadium. They completely tower above the stadium and look very very impressive. Testing to commence on the lights later this week. The stadium will be some sight with these babies switched on.

They are ridiculously huge. I'd imagine they should be visible from space.
I'm not going to bother investing in the outside light I needed for the garden, when those lights are on it should be bright as day around my place.
