Depends on whether the advances will have to be given back or not.
If they keep what money they have so far (E2m or so), they'll just have to cut back the E1m or so losses they've had the past couple of years. If they have to give the money back, they've still to cut back, but will also have to give the money back. They're also getting fairly large bank loans at present (drew down E750k last year), and these are presumably being repaid from the advances. An advance on an advance if you like. Probably not the soundest arrangement!
Obviously if they win, it's happy days, it seems.
As far as I recall the advances were non refundable.

Even if Bohs don't have to pay back the previous advances from the deal they still have to come to some arrangment to sell Dalymount in order to meet the interest on the loans they now have ?
I thought that was the original idea for selling in the first place, i.e they couldn't keep their heads above water.
In the current climate who in their right mind would give them the sort of deal they have at present. I'd imagine some form of meeting in the middle will happen. Could be a very expensive mistake to sell the same piece of land twice!
What date is the court case ?
John Delaney!! GET OUT!!!

We need a lawyer alright, and he probably would need to see the agreement. If Bohs entered that agreement not owning what they were selling, then they could be in trouble, I think, as in they could be sued for the advances back.
You can't spell failure without FAI
Rovers stadium coming on nicely, roof and lights on main stand just about finished.
Main stand will hold 3200 and temporary terrace in ground for 2500, happy days!!
Is that confirmed?Originally Posted by tallaghtfornia;1022004 [B
I thought it would be temporary seating.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

It's going to be one hell of a stand. Best of luck Rovers.
Is it me or does it look like the roof will leave an awful lot of the seating open to the elements???
looks like its gonna be a hell of a place, are Shamrock building a stand the other side/behind the goal, or is it just terrace?
The stadium really does look fantastic.
The only thing left for the people of Tallaght is to find an excuse to not go.![]()
Is it the same size of Athlones stand? Also, people saying the roof on it is too short, i dunno if it is but if so which way is it facing? Just thinking about the Donie Forde stand in Turners Cross having a short roof to let sunlight get to the pitch during the day.

It is bigger than Athlone Towns'.
Athlone's stand holds 2,000 AFAIK.
This stand holds 3,000.
