I don't know if you're serious or not?

It's not likely to start any time soon. A lot more will be known pending the outcome of the current court case with regard to ownership of a section of land at the shopping center end.

I am being serious, I didn't know there was a court case pending. So could your deal with these developers fall flat on it's face? If so what sort of reprucussions will the club face? Are they depending on this money?

Depends on whether the advances will have to be given back or not.

If they keep what money they have so far (E2m or so), they'll just have to cut back the E1m or so losses they've had the past couple of years. If they have to give the money back, they've still to cut back, but will also have to give the money back. They're also getting fairly large bank loans at present (drew down E750k last year), and these are presumably being repaid from the advances. An advance on an advance if you like. Probably not the soundest arrangement!

Obviously if they win, it's happy days, it seems.

Even if Bohs don't have to pay back the previous advances from the deal they still have to come to some arrangment to sell Dalymount in order to meet the interest on the loans they now have ?

I thought that was the original idea for selling in the first place, i.e they couldn't keep their heads above water.

In the current climate who in their right mind would give them the sort of deal they have at present. I'd imagine some form of meeting in the middle will happen. Could be a very expensive mistake to sell the same piece of land twice!

What date is the court case ?

Court case may decide that the agreement to make the advances non-refundable was null and void though. (And I use "may" to cover my lack of detailed knowledge of legal things).

We need a lawyer alright, and he probably would need to see the agreement. If Bohs entered that agreement not owning what they were selling, then they could be in trouble, I think, as in they could be sued for the advances back.

I thought it would be temporary seating.

Ah it looks brilliant. I can't wait, living less than five minutes walk away.

They were putting more of the glass in the main building today and looks like the main roof will all be on today too.

    Any pics of it?
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

It's going to be one hell of a stand. Best of luck Rovers.

Is it me or does it look like the roof will leave an awful lot of the seating open to the elements???

The stadium really does look fantastic.

The only thing left for the people of Tallaght is to find an excuse to not go.

Is it the same size of Athlones stand? Also, people saying the roof on it is too short, i dunno if it is but if so which way is it facing? Just thinking about the Donie Forde stand in Turners Cross having a short roof to let sunlight get to the pitch during the day.

It seems to be a small bit longer from that picture. Ours has a half roof as well to allow sunlight get to the pitch.

It is bigger than Athlone Towns'.
    Athlone's stand holds 2,000 AFAIK.
    This stand holds 3,000.
