Was there any broad agreement on whats required or just individual party reps saying what they could do if elected?
It was good alright. St. Pat's fan vs Shelbourne fan in the first half. Panel substitution for the second half, so it changed to Shamrock Rovers vs Dundalk. Matt Cooper reffed it.
From a LOI point of view, it wasn't just infrastructure touched on but also the funding of academies, how this is impacted by Brexit and cutting of the exodus of 16 year olds to the UK, the actual viability of a professional league and also the horse and greyhound funding / betting levy topic.

See Pats have posted the following on Twitter
?? “Season Tickets Now on General Sale!
Season tickets for the Camac and Patrons Stand are now available to the general public!
Our ground is currently undergoing developments. If these are completed as planned, we’ll have increased availability in the Main Stand and Section G.
For those on the waiting list for these sections, we will be in touch as soon as we know more!”
Anyone know what exactly is involved ?

Fresh planning application for 5,580 capacity stadium in Stranorlar lodged with the hope this is finally it. Funding in place and ready to go once planning is completed.

Isn't it well-establised now that new stadia in football lead to increased crowds? At least for a while anyway?
If there's an average of 1,000 or so going to Finn Park with its current prehistoric facilities, it's hard to see how a new stadium wouldn't attract more. Particularly when you factor in the weather up there.
“We hope and trust that the Planning Authority will now, once again, look favourably upon this application"
Be some craic if DonegalCoCo refused planning permission now! No permission for flags....
Looks like the saga is reaching a conclusion with funding organised albeit little wriggle room - tender process and submissions not easy with unstable costs and would be interesting to see who puts in submissions.
They should shift a few in Tallaght, with Fine Gael back in the feel good factor is strong with the Alliance.
Time Harps reached the FAI Cup final in 99, what sort of a crowd did they bring that day?I would be confident that Harps would increase their fanbase as its a soccer mad county!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
According to Wikipedia the population of Ballybofey and Stranorlar was 5,406 at the last census , which is less than the proposed capacity of the stadium .
Would Harps generally get many fans from Letterkenny or other places in the county ?
