Where does the FAI, John Delaney and the UEFA 2020 legacy money that was earmarked for Dalymount fit into all this?
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
First visit to the Market's Field last night, well impressed.
...Schwanholz, Herisau: a little bit of heaven...
Bit of a push on for Derry to be included as a Rugby WC venue, using Celtic Park. Derry county board open to the idea, and a mention was made of the football club using it this season. Motion to go before GAA Congress next week for opening up county grounds, and only county grounds, to other sports.
Perhaps this is the reason for the delay to announcing where we will be playing our final league fixtures?
Have you ever won the treble?

Didn't know where else to put this. Any other clubs do this? Personally I think it's great as I'm an asthmatic, but I'd imagine many will be unhappy.
There's smoking areas everywhere else in the country, why should any stadium be different?
Corks stance however might be a little harsh though. Not hard to designate a smoking area at the side of each stand.

They didn't say Turners Cross was no smoking. They said the stands are no smoking. I already though all seated area in all grounds were no smoking areas

That's true. Easily taken as no smoking in the ground though.
Doesn't bother me either way as a non-smoker

Ya I always thought stands were no smoking areas. Anytime I've been to turners cross the lads smoking have gone up behind the stand for a smoke. They've done it at every ground actually.
I smoked forty fags in the away stands at Galway and Sligo last year to be honest.
So no smoke bombs in the cross? ;-)

Covered stands are non-smoking, enclosed on three sides should bring them under the workplace smoking ban. Though I know enforcement is pathy, at least in the Brandywell.
I steward at Celtic Park and it's strictly enforced there, and seems to be the same at Lansdowne too.
Certainly Pats are in the stand away section and fair play too!
