How long are planning applications supposed to take anyway? Is there a standard timetable for that kind of thing?
Ginger also travelled on tour to South Africa during Apartheid. Nothing but a self-obsessed, grasping tool.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

That's one of the most bizarre stories I've ever seen. Hard to even know where to begin with it. One or two politicians preening and looking for a bit of unwarranted attention is one thing, but a whole bunch of them really does smack of carelessness on behalf of the people of Limerick.
What next? Refuse to allow Jedward concerts until they build a swimming pool and leisure centre? Kick out Munster rugby unless they construct an exact replica of the Eiffel tower? My mind is officially boggling. I'm not sure what it's boggling, but whatever it is, it's well and truly boggled. A veritable bogglearama.

I can guess the answer before I ask the question, but I'll ask it anyway - are the council allowed to publicly prejudice the planning application like this? Because that's what it reads like to me, a continuation of past policies. They'd be quicker pointing out the envelopes in Easons.
i believe in one man, one vote. i should be that one man with that one vote.
ALWAYS ON TOUR!
Sligo already have their Euro tickets on sale even though the draw hasn't been made yet. Must be desperate to get the cash in.
I'm beginning to think Limerick are actually cursed..

I hope Sligo can find a way out of this mess...
class post LTID and the sanctimonious drivel about "peoples needs" from these leeches after decades lining their own pockets, sickening.
Hope these vultures bugger off and allow plans for Markets Field to proceed but unfortunately they can really clog up the planning stage.
That's remarkable.
I know not on the same scale, but in Dún Laoghaire recently there was uproar amongst the councillors when they weren't consulted on Dulux painting the Baths (which have lain in ruin and are rotting since the late 90's).
I have no time for any Councillor in this State, especially the ones I work with in DLR. A shower of gombeens.
I think JP should just wag his finger and tell them where to go.
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
