(Taken form the Galway Indo) the long-awaited development of the dressing room area under the new stand has begun, with the new clubroom / tearoom nearing completion.
It was hoped that the whole area under the new stand could have been developed at the same time as the stand opened, but because of a lack of funding it had to be put on the long finger. Once completed the development will feature new home and away dressing rooms, retail spaces, kit room, referee's room and a new media room.
With the aid of the staff at the club, the ground is beginning to take shape. Hopefully it can gather enough funding to finish the job and make it a stadium to be envied.
oh boy I'm not good at football forums
Have to say Terryland is a brilliant stadium
Why would they even bother buliding a 3rd stand they barely fill 1 never mind 3

The Home of football is oriel!
The article seems to refer to the last stand built rather than a new one. Surprised but pleased to hear GUFC can fund this to be honest.

It belongs to the Galway District League I think so it'd be them calling the shots.
"If you don't work harder I'll pull you off at halftime,"
“Crikey, at Manchester City all we get is an orange and a cup of tea,"
All the development at Terryland has been jointly done by GUFC & GDL and funded by both. The work being done under the new stand is being done by club workers as the hopes of getting any grant of the government for the next 20 years is non existent thanks to Bertie and his successors selling the country down the Swanee.
We are the Galway Boys Stand up and make some noise"
Can Limerick please hurry up and move. Thats a horrible little ground you have! Felt like a real welcome to the first division today!
ye were there two years ago...surely you remembered?
If you've nothing good to say, say it.
The grassy bank opposite the stand was a better surface than the pitch.

I read somewhere that the limerick regeneration plan has been "parked" for the forseeable future, what will that mean for your plans
I wish i did not know then what I dont know now
1000 new seats gone into the Carlisle over the past week. Replacing the old red ones, no cover as of yet though for that side.
