    Quiz on the Laws of the Game (Round 6)

    Will put up last weeks answers tomorrow along with updated table

    This weeks questions, have a go and I will PM you your score.

    17. A flag is positioned in each corner of the field, what is the minimum height for a corner flag:

    a) 4ft with a non-pointed top;
    b) 4ft 6inches with a non-pointed top;
    c) 5ft with a non-pointed top;
    d) There is no minimum height but the flag must be safe.

    18. The ball bursts during a tackle, the centre forward then puts the burst ball into the oppositions goal.

    What should the referee give:
    a) Drop ball from where the ball burst;
    b) Goal, you had not stopped play;
    c) In-direct free kick against the centre forward for unsporting behaviour;
    d) In-direct free kick to the centre forward.


    19. Which of these offences is NOT a yellow card offence:
    a) A player is guilty of unsporting behaviour;

    Law 1 the field of play states “A flag-post, not less than 1.5 m (5 ft) high, with a non-pointed top and a flag is placed at each corner.”

    Law 2 the ball sets out that If the ball bursts or becomes defective during the course of a match:
    • the match is stopped
    • the match is restarted by dropping the replacement ball at the place where the first ball became defective

    19. d
    A player who spits at an opponent or any other person is guilty of a Red Card offence the rest are all Yellow card offences
