Please tell me we've been punked and this is all a very elaborate joke? Teams don't concede 5 goals to Cyprus, Cyprus haven't scored that many goals in a single campaign before?? Not funny, stop it now.

Allow me to correct that last statement - matches played for points. Doesn't look like we'll be very competitive under the new regime.

If the eircom league teams keep doing as well in Europe as this year, they will be higher ranked than the national team very soon.

It's an embarressment. I didn't think they could play any worse than the pub team game with cyprus last time.. just shows how wrong you can be sometimes
