Over 1500 at the game. Rovers fans filled that stand behind the goal at the tunnel not sure what it holds? Very good atmosphere

And Killester looked like they were without a recognised goalkeeper from the highlights!
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!

No way. Cup semi-final and possible european footie next season.
The support was fantastic, biggest away support for some time. 400+.
Well done Killester, they gave it all. Our injury situation is worrying. After McKensie went off injured, we played 3-5-2.
I have scattered my dreams underneath your feet, tread carefully, cos it's my dreams you walk on.

The New Stand seats over 1,000 so I very much doubt you filled it.

The New Stand is made up of 5 segments, the 4 squares have 256 seats each (16 x 16) so that over 1,000 without including the middle strip.

I agree. They certainly don't look like squares either but I'm sure I remember counting them one day to settle an argument!

The 4 sections are actually 16x12 (192) as you can see from this picture so I suppose we're talking a bit over 800 seats in there!

I was in the New Stand and there were plenty of empty seats around us. Good few neutrals and Killester fans there too.

Definitely the most exciting game I've been to this year. Well done to Killester for coming back 3 times against a fully professional side and that header was inches wide of being a fourth equaliser late on. Killester looked a really good side and battled unbelievably hard. I wonder could they have held on if they hadn't gone down to 10 men through injury at the start of extra time.

Killester are a very good side, would be one of the better teams in the Frst Division at least.
Id say about 450 Rovers fans.....best away game I was ever at...and got in for only €5.

    Thumbs up

Only seen the scoreline & a few goals on tv but huge respect to Killester for pushing the 5th best Premier eL team all the way to extra time.

Sounds like Sligo had a real scare, well played Killester. In the long run, it's probably better that Killester didn't get potentially one game from the UEFA Cup, with the way we're fighting for co-eff points at the minute. Nonetheless, I'm glad we avoided them now as they've clearly got a lot of fight.

As I said to ya last night, we had several players injured.

We weren't that bad. We'll show you how "bad" we are if we get ye in the draw on Monday.

Your replacements aren't obviously non-league standard then...if a Premier Division reserve side lead three times, you don't expect it to go to extra time - or resort to holding the ball in the corner after 210 minutes of football..

As for the players waving to your crowd at 3-2 and the manager at half time...unprofessional springs to mind..
    The Model Club

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

Keep an ear out for their lad up front Mikey Keogh, could be snapped up by an eL club. IIRC he has 6 goals so far this season in the cup

I think a certain dfx is a little upset at losing to Galway .

I think he's the guy Sean Connor has already expressed an interest in...
