He had a rough ride in the first couple of games after takin over from Lal but he's certainly turned us into a mean machine since. Last night the respect the lads have for him showed when Derek sprinted to the dug out after scoring.
As regards the game it wasnt a classic we were very nervous in the opening 30 mins passin wasnt accurate especially in midfield. Fran was havin a bit of a mare. Raf and Gethins worked as hard as anyone one could expect they never gave up on a ball. Derek didnt have as much action down the wing as he usually would have but he got the all important goal.
Some bazaar lack of de cision making from the ref particularly near the end with raf gettin beat into the ground by incoming shams after the ball was out of play. Never mind three points United.

Fair to play tony cousins, we lucked out when we got him lads, i must admit when he was announced as manager i was fairly sceptical as i knew nothing about him but im so happy hes proved me wrong and turned out to be a legend in his first year. all of the rovers fans know exactly how good he is and a number of them were telling me last night that they were disgusted that he wasnt there manager. dunno what that says for scully
