Maybe I should have offered gael353 as an option and you could have voted for him instead!

How did the 4 (Purcell, Heffernan, Waters, Lester) who came from Waterford United do? How would ye rate their seasons out of ten?

Purcell - 6.5, Fine for the most part but his form was uneven throughout and not the absolute collosus he was with us last time out.

Colm Heffernan - 6, No form to speak of, looked well off the boil at times but still capable of turing a game when he puts his mind to it. Another who wasn't bad but didn't produce quite what he was remembered for.

Kevin Waters - 3, Effort never in question but just didn't look good enough no matter how many positions he was tried out in. His goal in the preseason victory over Dublin City was about as good as it got for him until the recent win over Monaghan where, with superb comic timing, he scored twice and injured himself celebrating the second.

John Lestor - 7.5, Started the season brilliantly and bossed games at times. Looked a bit more lacklustre of late but capable of playing the ball in a manner that nobody else in the division can. Works harder than he's given credit for too though the inevitable suspensions that follow his raft of yellow cards can irritate.
