    The Republic of Ireland under-15 side played out a scoreless draw with a Midland Development Squad at St Mel's Park on Tuesday night.


    In an entertaining contest, the Midland selection posed the greatest threat with Home Farm's Darragh Concannon impressing greatly throughout the contest.


    The Irish under 15s now face Wales next Saturday before heading off to Holland to play 2 matches.


    Six players from the Athlone District Schoolboys League represented the Midland XL - Robert Hamm (Willow Park), Irla Davoren (Willow Park), Carmone Russo (Willow Park), John Connellan (St Francis), Colm Finneran (St Francis) and Conor Jordan (St Josephs).
