BBC3 is showing the Northern Ireland - Denmark game, so it's looking increasingly unlikely it'll be available in the UK, at least on terrestrial TV
I'd be surprised if the Crown aren't showing it
No but it'll be on in any pub with the Irish SKY service so that's dozens at least in London. It just makes it harder to plan, that's all.
I know it's on in my local, The Corrib Rest. However, it's unlucky. We've not won a single game I've watched there since I moved into the area. OK, it's not so much that the pub is unlucky, more that we've been sh1te since I moved there.
Anyway, I resent playing second fiddle to English fans in an Irish pub, as they'll be showing England vs Macedonia in the bigger part of the pub.
I wish there was a pub in Cardiff that had Irish sky
Not really, sadly. I moved to London in '99 and any good results we've had since then I've usually been at the games. I watched the 2-1 vs Yugoslavia in Terry Neill's Sports Bar in Holborn but it's closed now.
Am thinking of Molly Malone's in Richmond. Maybe some of the rugby luck will spread. I'm told they have the Irish SKY service. Only problem is that if I go all the way down there & it's not on I'm goosed.
Usual hard core Irish pubs like The Swan in Stockwell are bound to have it I reckon. McGoverns in Kiloburn is a near cert, but maybe only in the small bar at the side.
Captain Morgans - Greenford will have the game..................
CAPTAIN MORGANS GREENFORD Welcomes all Irish Football fans, live music every weekend
Tube? Metropolitan Line?
Sudbury Hill Picadilly line, turn right out of station about 10 min walk down hill
Greenford - Central line, turn left out of station, 1st right then left at lights
or get 92 bus (from greenford stn) up to texaco garage.......................

a few phone calls are going to be made on saturday just to make sure as im not trekking through half of london to end up in a pub showing the en-ger-land game

Unfortunately the SWAN, legendary though it is, tends to portray itself more as an Aussie/Kiwi/Saffer bar these days on top of the ould Irish theme. I havent known it to show Ireland matches that arent on Sky Sports, but i could be wrong.
However, if anyone's thinking of being in the area on saturday, i'm doing some research and will keep yous posted; i usually rely on the (un)Holy Tooting Trinity of the Wheatsheaf/the Mayfair/Jack Beard's to come good, and they've not let me down yet. Watch this space..
Just moved to London so any confirmed venues would be greatly appreciated. That pub in Richmond would be ideal as I live in Putney, but anywhere will do as long as they DEFINETLY have the game
i know its a long shot but does anyone know anywhere in brighton with irish sky?
illiteracy and alphabet soup hmm?
Can anyone please re-assure me that the Cyprus game is being shown on terrestrial TV here in Ireland?
It's not listed in the RTE guide. It's not listed anywhere (as far as I can see) on RTE site. Someone mentioned TV3? if so is it live or delayed?
" I wish to God that someone would be able to block out the voices in my head for five minutes, the voices that scream, over and over again: "Why do they come to me to die?"
Yep, it's on TV3

The Owl (and others), I'm waiting on confirmation from Molly Malone's in Richmond (at the Kew Road roundabout I think). My mate who lives across the road says they have RTE, so they must surely also have TV3. However, she's a girl with at best a passing interest in sport. You know what I'm getting at - even if she says it's on it may only be because some dollybird behind the bar is guessing it's on.
PS: I'm not a misogynist!
