I am informed by an Athlone acquaintance that a few bottle throwing Rovers followers took a wrong turn from the pitch and will not be throwing anything for a considerable time as a result of the lesson in manners they received from some of the locals. Anyone here anything about the incident?

I'd say solely down to idiot Rovers and Bohs fans myself (obviously not all fans of these clubs are idiots, I'd say 4/5 max) but one of them has just received a ban so we'll see how it pans out.
