RedFM : 5,000.
Irish Times : 4,000.
Network2 : over 4,000.

For the night that was in it, it was a pretty decent crowd.
Say an average of
€6 per person = €24,000,
40% to Harps = €9,600,
So €14,400 between City and MFA = very good news for the club...

AFAIK the MFA just get a falt rate rent & don't get any sort of percentage from the gate receipts?

Well I meant take out whatever the MFA get, and it's a nice little sum for City.

No way

No way was it 5,000 by any stretch of the imaginationg, i actually thought that it might have been just over 3,000, no i could be wrong but to say 4,000 i'd say was a push aswell. But all things considered Celtic were playing last night and it had been raining all day so the turn out was fairly good.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Harps had people on the gates going in, same as us, so don't see how it can be different.

On the same subject, I went in early to help putting up the flags in the Shed and left my stuff in the Horseshoe. When I went to go back out, they wouldn't let me- "can't go out til half time lads" I mean for crying out loud like. Result was, some poor bugger had to drink my pint for me

It's all part of Gunther's cunning plan to drive you crazy, Eanna, so you do something to get barred from the ground, turn against City, and become Cobh Ramblers most outspoken fan.....

They probably thought 2 pints was enough for ya, With one more in ya you might have fallen when you went to get the flags back.
