FAI EGM - Merger

This coming Saturday

An Extraordinary General Meeting of the Football Association of Ireland will take place on Saturday, September 30, in Cahir House Hotel, Co Tipperary, to vote on the proposed merger between the association and the Eircom League. The meeting commences at 12noon

Was just thinking it'd be some craic if the clubs voted it down at this stage!

Doubt that'll happen though, the clubs are too weak to resist Delaney's will even if they wanted to.

Doubt it. (Nearly) Everyone voted for it the last time, I doubt there'll be any changes.

No the FAI have enough votes even if all 21 clubs about turned and voted no.

It's not the eL voting this time but the FAI Council.

I think UCD should be barred from the top division as they isn't a decent pub beside the ground , would also like to see Galway, Athlone and Harps promoted as it would be a handy few points.

When they move to the bowl there'll be a few decent pubs. Used to like Longs before it was done up.
