    Red face Oh god...

What a disgraceful display. McCarthy should hang his head. I've never had too much faith in the guy, but we were found out yesterday. What did he say after- it was one to forget?! No Mcik, it was one to remember, to make sure it NEVER happens again. And as for Phil Babb, well................................

    McCarthy

I have an Éanna and Gunther-esque opposition to McCarthy from day one, he makes our Liam look like a footballing genius.

What do you do when you are 3-2 down, bring on a centre back of course, it was up there with bring Carsley to the World Cup as a masterful decision.
    Oh no not them again

Credit to Babb, he handled that last attack (after Kinsella gave the ball away in midfield) quite well. Ian Harte would have been 20 yards behind that Russian winger allowing him to round Given and score in an empty net. Babb did what he could, kept himself between the winger and the goal so the only choice was shooting straight at Given. Good defensive teamwork. That the rebound came straight off him and flew into the goal is just wretched luck. I'd still prefer Babb over Harte at left back any day.

When the team walked out and I saw the lineup I nearly wanted to kick in the television. In fact, I would have, except it wasn't my television, it was the pub's. What should Mick have learned from the World Cup? Ian Harte can't defend (or pass, or attack, or even take free kicks anymore). Ditto Kilba. Duff is dazzling on the wing. Finnan whoops ass at right midfield. Long balls in to Duff and Keane up front don't work. Yet we are subjected to the same piece of sh*t line up over and over and over again.

Did this man watch Chelsea - Man Utd? Did he not see Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink man marked off the park by John O'Shea. Perhaps McCarthy was too busy scouting West Hame reserve matches checking on Gary Breen. Fool. Idiot. No wonder the FAI love him.

McCarthy does so much wrong that theres just no more hope for improvement anymore. The only way for me to regain my sanity is for us to get a new manager.

    Cool

I gotta agree with everything you say apart from kilba, what a donkey is he, how he ever got onto the team i don't know he just puts the head down and runs, not like giggsy more like forrest (gump that is), i dont think i have ever seen him beat his opposite yet, but he did play kinda well when he went in at left full in the WC but then i could have went in there and played better than harte.
