    Angry Breaking news a disgrace

Eircom League: Bohs take on Finn Harps in today's only fixture

    06:20 Saturday July 16th 2005
Bohs take on Finn Harps in today's only fixture at 7:45 p./m.
In last nigh'ts fixtures, Shamrock rovers went down 2-nil at Dalymount to Derry.

UCD claimed a home victory against St Pats - it finished 1-0 at Belfield.

Eamon Zayed put 2 in the back of the Waterford net at the RSC for Bray Wanderers.

Neil Andrew was on target for the home side - so a 2-1 victory there for Bray.

I don't care about the 1st division so can see where Breaking News is coming from. We should be striving for better Premier division coverage - 1st division teams can strive to be in Premier division.

Exactly, no-one cares about the 1st Division. The Premier is what it's all about.

I looks to me like you will be seeing one Dublin team getting promoted and most of all one Dublin team relegated

Without the first division & the excitement of promotion & relegation the pemier division wouldn't be as exciting. The league is two divisions. Monaghan & Kilkenny etc are as important as the big teams.

They were in the Premier Division 8 years ago and are currently beating the 1st Division league leaders.

it's all our National League plonker! Lack of First Division coverage is endemic of the overall problem... what we need is decent coverage of BOTH DIVISIONS

I still disagree. We have difficulty enough getting good media coverage of top teams without wasting our time trying to convince the national media to send someone to cover Kilkenny or Dublin City amoung 100 "crowd".

Pete, if City were in the First divsion(very unlikely, I know) would you not like them to get good coverage in the media?
