For anyone interested here is an updated 4B table.
Updated 4B table
Just as an aside, the Coonagh A team have become known as the Coonagh reserves by the B team for the past couple of seasons, and NO it's not that A players play for the B team which I've already gone through ad nauseum but because they are/were better than the A team
Cheers for those ShelsLimerick. It really is a pain in the arse not having the website anymore. The fixtures arent even on the the Star on Tuesdays either. Ahh its good to have the bad ole days back.![]()

I have been involved in Limerick Junior Football for 16 years now and played in almost every division. Stumbled across this thread by mistake. Must say I have seen Coonagh A & B play this season, and the A team is not a patch on their B team. Was at the Coonagh Caherconlish game and Coonagh destroyed them. I only recently heard Caherconlish were awarded the points, due to a technicality about a previous game where Coonagh had won 7-1!! Typical LDMC, these guys are like bouncers, one night a week they get a chance to feel important to the detriment of everyone else. At home I bet their wives wear the trousers and probably beat them around the place as well. LDMC is their weekly fix of power. None of these guys have played football before. Caherconlish should do the decent thing and withdraw their appeal, they were outclassed in every position for 90 minutes and now look to win the league on a technicality, bad sportsmanship. Anyone that was in Coonagh that morning know who the real league champions are.
Next rubbish poster on this thread will get a ban from the forum.Last time I'm saying it.
whose going to win the league how many games are left?
Why is couple of my posts deleted, what did i say that was interpreted as abusive, stupid, threating or whatever
i haven't mentioned names, i have given my opinion which i think this forum is all about
just curious thats all
On the whole Coonagh/Caherconlish dispute, it does seem a bit harsh that Caherconlish should be awarded the three points based on what seems to have been, at worst, an administrative error. There is a Champions League precedent to suggest that a replayed game between the sides would have been more appropriate. Back in 1992/93, Leeds Utd played Stuttgart for a place in the group stages. Although Leeds lost the tie on away goals over two legs, Stuttgart exceeded their quota of foreign players (pre-Bosman era rules) in the second leg. Leeds Utd appealed, and UEFA ordered that the tie be decided by playing a one-off game at a neutral venue (the Nou Camp), which I think Leeds won 2-0. That seems a fairer solution to me than what the LDMC seem to have done in this case ....
