0-0 at weekend against Fairview B, no real shots on goal from either team. Both defences were solid but Holycross still in good position after 7 games with 14 points.... memory reminds me that it took us till mid january to get 14 points last year..
Now season is well under way, what would your predictions for the rest season be??? who you think is going up? and who's fighting for regulation?
who's the best attackers, midfielders and defence in the very competitive 1B league???
Just getting this thread back into the first page by writing this post
since we have had cup games and a couple of games off in the last few weeks there has been no news to bring to this thread
looking forward to this weeks game against in form Shels been told have to get fit to keep up with there young guns
Disappointing result for ye at the weekend Jock. Heard ye were missing a few players with the GAA? That right?
Were Shels good? Heard they're after signing a few from Lisnagry aswell, but haven't seen them so don't know. Going to be a very interesting league yet. No pushovers in it.
we were missing about five to six first team players had to bring in players from B team... but Shels are the best team we have played in the league we were crap, myself shouldn't have played i was injured but cause of lack of players i played... Shels i see favourites to win league they play great football passing the ball and got good quick players up front.
how's yourself found new team to play with edgey?
We missed a bag of incredible chances...one of those days when we hit the post, the rebound hit the keeper and the rebound of that was cleared off the line. Thought we were never going to score and then our left full hit a cracker of a volley from outside the box. Think it was his second goal in five years. We had a great chance after that but our right full got greedy. After that we hung on a bit to be honest, they could have equalised.
I missed that game and have missed a good few of our games so can't really comment but I did hear that ye should have got a draw. Sure it'll even out over the season![]()
so your saying you's will gift us a goal in the return leg thats a nice jesture from yourself edgey... are you playing cup this weekend or league game???
Boro away in the FAI...enough said!
Said I'd resurrect this thread Jock rather than posting in others. I'm not sure its completely right. Think Knockainey may have played 20 games but its more or less correct. Given the way teams at the top are dropping points lately if ye win yer games ye have a chance.
