So do it?

I'm actually curious, but seeing as Long has only two goals this season I don't think it's likely he'll come out the right side of it, even allowing for his limited game time, presuming you're talking about this season? You're on the internet, it's easy enough to find that sort of data.
I would look it up now but I'm away on business and only have access to my phone.
It's too awkward if I don't have my laptop.
This season only I assume.
edit to add in Austin and Redmond
Austin:
appearances= 19(13/6), minutes= 1136, goals= 9, goals per game= 0.47, goals per 90 minutes= 0.71
Rodriguez:
appearances= 23(13/10), minutes= 1002, goals= 5, goals per game= 0.21, goals per 90 minutes= 0.45
Long:
appearances= 29(14/15), minutes= 1407, goals= 3, goals per game= 0.1, goals per 90 minutes= 0.19
Redmond:
appearances= 32(26/6), minutes= 2380, goals= 4, goals per game= 0.12, goals per 90 minutes= 0.15

Cheers.
Im actually surprised that Long has played 400 more minutes (3.5 games) more than Rodriguez this season. I had the impression he was way behind him.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
The irony is about Long is that he is not actually as long (tall) as people think he is. I guess his name conjures up images of a tall man, the reality is he only 5'11.
Yep... I think we all got that one very wrong (me, you & TOWK at least). Was just looking there and Rodriguez was only in and out of the squads, let alone the starting XI until November and saw very little game time, presumably injury related. It wasn't until Austin got injured a week into December that he started matches with any semblance of regularity.
Long has been close to ever present in terms of availability, bar his two-three week lay-off in October when he also missed the Austria game. He's only started six league games (including three of the last seven) but has featured in the majority of them, unlike Rodriguez. Long has also started eight of their twelve cup games.
I thin Warsaw, Slovakia and Moldova present recent proof that Long is a better option as a starter for us.
The Polish and Slovakian defenders couldn't cope with him at all and he looked like our best threat against Moldova.
Murphy did outshine him in France though.
Starts against Arsenal.
Lost 5-0 was not on for the last 2 though.
He's was captain for the evening too.
Probably one of the only Southampton players to come out of that game with any credit. Had a snap shot from a long pass that the keeper did well to save.
Apparently Southampton are close to signing Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini for £17m.
