Glenn Ferguson wants Linfield to be in top form when their defence of the Irish Premier League title begins in two weeks time. And that's bad news for Larne and Glenavon who the Blues still have to face in CIS Cup group matches.
A 3-0 win against Lisburn Distillery in their last outing secured Linfield's passage to the quarter-final stages, but there will be no let up from the Blues after starting the season with an average of three goals a game in both Europe and domestic competition.
