well from what ive heard it should be no problem getting them outside the stadium i was gonna head in anyway with or without a ticket so i reckon head in, worst thing that can happen is u end up in a pub hammered cos of the bloody result!!

yeah do id say u will get some at face value too sure apparently people have just been stuck with tickets but if u ring the fai they will tell u it is completely sold out, what a joke!

Oh yeah, should've said I'm ok for them now, got sorted, but now can't make it due to work commitments, thanks to all who helped though!!!

thanks to mayo bhoy for organinsing a ticket for me..

never seen as many spare tickets available for a competitive match before.
it was bordering on the ridiculus... not that i was complaining as all of our gang got sorted

I was on the north terrace with the Czech fans. There was a section cordoned off at the east stand side about 30 minutes before the match. A steward told me that the Czechs had returned 600 tickets and that was why it was cordoned off. They opened it just before kick off but that was 600 tickets that obvioulsy weren't put on sale by the FAI for Irish fans.

do you guys reckon it will be as easy as last night to get a ticket for San Marino? I can then book the time off this week.

Yeah I'd imagine it won't be too diffiuclt. The San Marino game is hardly a glamour tie and you'd have to expect there'd be less of a demand for that than the Czechs last night (even after a decent performance)

id say it wont be too hard to get a ticket for san marino, i have mine in the pocket at least..it will be a biatch tryin to get one for the away leg

There'll be loads of returns from San Marino so there should be plenty on sale the week of the game.

Wouldn't expect more than a handful of the away allocation to be sold so I would think those on the waiting list should get offered tickets (similar to Faroes and Cyprus matches in the last campaign).
