What about a less contentious anthem.....like 'Danny Boy', as opposed to a tribute to some disinterested disfunctional pan-European/German family...........
Not because it might be "less contentious" (patronising bull****), but because I believe it would enhance our identity further - Scotland & Wales have their own "anthems". I would like the same for Northern Ireland.
