I'm almost certain I've read that before, a while back. Especially Trap's 'most important' line.
Apparently the 'deep throat' is none other than our Trap.
Trap's opinion
Bayern Munich are looking at Celtic and Republic of Ireland midfielder Aiden McGeady with a view to signing him in the summer, according to Giovanni Trapattoni, former trainer of the German outfit.
The Bavarians have reportedly already observed the youngster and have asked the opinion of Ireland’s Italian boss.
‘Trap’ met Bayern representatives last week at the Chelsea - Manchester City match and was asked to give his take on McGeady.
“'They asked me what I think about McGeady because they have followed him,” Trapattoni told the Scottish Daily Mail.
“They wanted to know my opinion and I said McGeady is one of our most important players.”
The report also claims that Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp is keeping tabs on the Celtic star.

Why would Trap be at the Chelsea - Manchester City game? meet up with his manager mates?
I'm almost certain I've read that before, a while back. Especially Trap's 'most important' line.
Not quite sure how important a player is when he only gets in the team if there's an injury to Duff or Lawrence.
McGeady has already flopped in Moscow. Trap is clearly exaggerating McGeady's importance in our team.
Will Karpin become the manager of Ireland at some stage? If so, he better get his bat straight re McGeady.
Not sure Id call him a flop just yet. He seems to be holding his own in Moscow.
There is no such thing as a miracle cure, a free lunch or a humble opinion.
I'll let Geysir explain...
Definitely not flopping over there:

Yeah I really don't see how anyone could say he's flopped. He seems to have risen to the challenge, and I thought he was markedly improved when I saw him play for Ireland since his move. He also turned in a good performance against Chelsea, from what I could see. And even then it's still early to rate how he's done. Methinks the people saying he's already failed will continue to do so wherever he goes and however he plays.
for anyone to say he has floppped is pure ignorance. Some people need to catch themselves on McGeady is a special talent but he also a confidence palyer , lets hope he never reads half the ****e posted on here about him or he may never lace up his boots again. I hope McCarthy is not subjected to the same rubbish once he actually gets a couple of games under his belt - Another Glasgow born boy that has taken the wrath of Scotland to play for us. But hey dont let that stop you boo boys , lets jump on the Scots badwagon and give them both hell every time they pull on a green jersey
It's 2011 and people are still not getting sarcasm on the internet like it's 2010.
In fairness to Dunners, he's a newbie so the context & sarcasm was easily missed.

The cameras picked out a happy Aiden, in the midst of a bunch of his Celtic comrades, at Ibrox.
Made a welcome change from the obligatory corny contrived camera shots of Rod Stewart, Billy Connolly and whatshisname - that actor with the speech impediment who supports Rangers.
John Travolta?
Good one, but
THE NAME IS BOND.... RANGERS BOND
This page was nearly on Page 4 (for probably the first time since he scored on his debut for Celtic)
