Goal again today. Was really surprised he didn't see more action over the last two games. Still think we will need his creativity at some stage in the playoffs great to still have him
The Henrik boo was part hurt - it was painful to see him leave, worse to see him return in another Jersey, and torture to witness him score against us - and part affirmation of the status of Celtic supporter ie the club is the entity supported, not the player no matter who they are. Even Henrik. That is my recollection of it anyway.
The dude abides....

Don't answer that Liamoo, it's a trick.
[QUOTE=backstothewall;1939934]By creativity do you mean taking 2 stepovers and then losing the ball?[/QUO
Is he not one of our highest assist providers of all time ever in history? Would you expect him to have twice that number of assists? Do creative players only get to play If they never give the ball away? MccLean was having a poor game on Monday to go along with his shocker against Serbia when he came up trumps with the winner thank god but that can't ignore that he was ineffective before this hard to imagine mcgeady could have been any more ineffective against serbia(mcgeady was injured for the Serbia game). Basically l will really miss mcgeady when he is gine

But the step overs don't count on his record of assists so can't see how that is relevant. Why would we not want someone who has provided more assists than most nearly all possibly anyone who has ever played for us to be involved even if he can't do as many stopovers because of this new video thong you mention
What I don't have is a video of that thong!
Watched the Smoggies vs the Makems yesterday with a lot of Irish interest. The centre-halves for Sunderland were our first choice a few years ago (O'Shea and Wilson). Their distribution was pretty poor but then again it was an awful game. Defensively they did ok in what up to that had been a pretty porous Sunderland defence. It was strange and nice seeing Marc playing again and he is only 30 so hopefully he'll get his career up and running again. Gibson does what Gibson does and played for the most part the easy ball but did ok. McGeady seemed to have a roving role but had one of those frustrating games where just about everything he tried failed and on one occasion fell over when doing the step overs. Christie attacked well but was caught out defensively once or twice and Randolph made some excellent saves (the pick of the Irish players on view). I think O'Shea picked up a calf strain so must be a doubt.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
Scored the winner today
gibson seems to have been starter over last 5 or 6 games which is great wood love to see him.back with is with that lovely passing
Was at the Sunderland v Wednesday game on Easter Monday. Coldest match I have ever been at (-3) not aided by the empty seats around me so no protection from the biting wind. Terrible first half as well but at least it livened up in the second. Amazing when you're struggling at the foot of the table how often decisions/incidents go against you. Sunderland hit the inside of the post and the ball ran along the line while one of their players was taken down for what looked like a clear penalty.
McGeady was the usual curate's egg. O'Shea continues to give it 100% while I was delighted to see Marc Wilson playing and doing ok but I fear, retirements or transfers apart, all three will be in the 1st Division next season. None of them stood out though but none got stick from the Sunderland supporters. McGeady got some from the Owls' fans due to the past connection Have to say I was impressed the way the home support did not turn on their players at the end nor was there a chorus of boos but there was a large rattle of seats being emptied when the score went 1-3 against the run of play.

Failed to get off the bench in League 1 today for Sunderland
I see fixer was right about Sunderland and league one.
Seems O Shea and Wilson escaped the sinking ship.
Two assists and a goal tonight. Call him up Mick!
Some rún of goalscoring form, 6 in 7 matches now.
