Just read about this in the paper. Interesting concept where Spiralfrog will provide free downloads as they are confident that they can make the site pay via advertising alone. Not open yet but will watch with great interest.

Read that they wont be downloadable onto iPods. But will they be available for all other brands of MP3 players (Samsung, Sony, Creative etc.)? If so, its going to be a huge advantage for non i-Pod owners...

I heard theres going to be clips of adverts at the start of each song you download plus you'll need to log into your account once every month to keep it active,don't know if thats the case but it's just what I've heard.

Heard that too. I dont mind sitting through adverts so long as they're short and relevant... was thinking of buying an iPod but if this site takes off, swinging towards getting a Sony MP3 now..
