Exclamation Capital Sports Grants for eL Clubs

Clubs just dont ask enough, have a look at this list of grants from Cork and you'll see the difference between the GAA and ourselves.

When you think that half the GAA members are guys who drink in their bars and not actual players, yet football still half nearly twice the amount of members, then that is where all of this gets alarming. Figures taken from here.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Are people stunned into silence .... serious differences there in the amount diferent codes get, with the GAA getting over three times as much than footie clubs. Completely biased there ..... i though people would be freaking out.

What did you expect though?I think it's safe to say we all know how biased the system was and is anyway.

It's shocking alright, but how many GAA clubs are there in proportion to footie clubs. There's a case study for someone!
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

I dont know about the amount of clubs but i do know that The dept of Arts, Tourism and Sport release figures about a year ago saying that there were more people playing soccer in the country that GAA, and when i say GAA, i mean both the hurling and gaylick together. Their figures ..... not something pulled out of the sky.

Also remember, soccer membership only includes players ..... not members who only use the club members bar and never see/play a game all year. The only thing that is up in GAA in the last ten years is people watching it, tv figues .... not going to games.
