    Fav Bottled Beer

Forgive me all mods for this!

    Now Lads (And Lassies)
The New Irish can have access to a wide range of Bottled Beers at the local Supermarket at little money

Trying a "Cobra" tonight, Nicer than Heineken I think!

"Tiger" also not Bad, but there is an Italian Beer I am Trying to remember, VERY smooth!

    Any others to recommend?

Used to drink Holsten alot but not now.

Wiese beer (sp?), the crystal one (green label), great stuff

Red Stripe, Bahaus (sp?) from Brazil is nice when really cold, Red-eye is good stuff too. Tiger and Cobra are nice alright but there are nicer, cant remember the name now, yellow and red label though.

O'Hara's stout is definitely worth a mention here, really really nice stuff.

At the moment, I'm liking Tsingtao - a Chinese beer which is becoming more widely available.

    Tastes very "clean"

At the moment Shepherd Neame's Ales, available in my local spar, are on heavy rotation:

    Spitfire
    Bishop's Finger (aka Nun's delight!)
    1698 Strong Ale.

IMO, a crystal weiss kind of defeats the purpose. The yeast sediment adds most of the flavour.

Hopefully, we'll see a stock of Oktoberfest beers soon, if not in already.

My fav is Desparados but u cant get it here....it is a lovely larger with some Tequila in for extra kick.

Love Leffe Blond too...can get it in the Squealing Pig.

As for Erdinger & Krombacher or Budvar you can get them in the bar at CHP for any Rovers fans who are coming up tonite and would like a different beer and they are the same price as Bud or Miller!

    Budweiser
    Tiger
    Rolling Rock
    Miller

are the only bottles I can really stand to drink.

For me it's Pints of Bud or JD & Coke.

My favourite. A fair few pubs in Dublin sell Peroni, which I think is an export version of that.

Love with Corona (with lime) but too much hassle if I'm at home. There its Miller at €20 a case from Dunnes...

I like the taste of Lime but hate the feeling of all citrus fruit...the juice dries my pinkies out and I just cant stand the feeling of their skins.

Miller €20 in Dunnes.....gonna get me some of that! Thanks for the tip off!

How about Newcastle Brown Ale? Tip for ye though: Never leave it in the freezer, and then forget about it. Gets messy...

Corona is probably best from a bottle, lime included!!! Used to drink Holsten a lot, and the Bishops Finger deserves an honorable mention!

Bought a round of Desparados in a club in Riga a few weeks back on a stag weekend. I wasn't popular with the rest of the lads. The consensus was it was the most disgusting beer anyone had ever drank.

Franziskaner Dunkel weissbeer and Staropramon would be my favourites.
