NBA, I'm too fond of it. I went a time when I couldn't stand the stuff but started drinking it again due to the fact that I looked like a weedy cockney in a bar full of northern rock heads so I drank to fit in and realised just what I'd been missin, since then I've been making up for lost time.

Apart from that the hard to find Argentine Quilmes slips down very easily and Hamburg's Astra is great stuff.
Where am I now? I'm over here,
I've got those empty pockets and I can't afford a beer.

Had trouble finding a decent brew in Oz. VB was brutal, Fosters...nuff said. Settled on Hahn Ice, lovely on a hot day.
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

Quilmes, dont they sponsor a South American club team? Newky Brown is class though, rekindled my love for it. Although its quite heavy for the summer, good stuff all the same. My Aussie housemate has got me into Singha, a Thai beer, and its damn nice!

That's lovely that stuff. Also a big fan of the old reliable's like Heineken, Carlsberg and Corona. In that order.

    Kopparberg is cider.
The most common one is Pear Cider but you can get Apple, Strawberry, Blueberry, Blueberry/Lime, Elderberry, Elderberry/Lime, Raspberry, Raspberry/Blackcurrent, Summer Fruits, etc. and they're still cider...

Be warned, that Raspberry & Blackcurrent stuff is 8.5%
Had a bit of a cider drinking phase in Scandanavia.

Koparrberg isn't brewed as a cider though, is it not? I thought flavours etc were all added closer to bottling.

The 7% mixed fruits is lethal!

If something is made up of carbonated water, pear wine, flavours and additives, then in my book it's not a cider (or a perry) but closer to a spritzer, or alcopop.

As I said, I don't doubt it's popularity, but cider it ain't, if you ask me.

My local off license did that at €1 a bottle for a while. Lovely beer. Another one for the holidays is Estrella Damm if you're ever in Barcelona (or Salou). Haven't seen it outside Catalunya though

People love it, though and that's fine. A little too sickly sweet for me.

As Al Murray might say, it's a fruit based beverage.
