This is probably not my place but.....I've been going to bohs games (only bout 6 a season) euro's games and matches with rovers and cup games fot about 6 six years now. I wouldn't consider myself to be a bohs fan really but I look to see their match scores on the night if I'm not there and I have a shirt. To be honest I think at this stage Bohs fans are a joke and after last night I'ill not be supporting/semi-supporting them. The way they have treated their managers is a disgrace and last night was the end for me. Farrelly having to be taken off with stewards guarding him while the tunnel was thumped and people sang ''we want Farrelly out''. Now he hasn't been great for sure but that kind of reaction along with how they treated Kenny is just not on...now you could tell Kenny was a good manger and you can certainly tell that now. I was there when the fans called for his head and to be honest you could hear in their voices that they didnt know what they were saying...
Bohs fans wanna cop on.... this cant go on for ever...There is too much power there and the use of it is poor...
Peadar, These are the facts for the past 12 months ....... Our budget last year was about €950,000 and it'll be about €1,050,000 this year. If Cork's results were similar for this kind of outlay would you be happy?
Some FACTS about Gareth Farrelly's time as Bohs manager .....
Bohemians beat Finn Harps in Ballybofey in Mid July 2005. Since then Bohs have played TWELVE games outside Dublin [in League and FAI Cup] and the record is abysmal …..

Also Peadar, Kenny was sacked a few months before the end of his contract. At notime up until the 40 seconds or so at the end of the Levadia Tallinn game did he ever receive any major stick from Bohs fans.
Peadar
Since 1990 we have had 7 managers.
In the same time Cork have had 9 managers.
Stephen Kenny's time at Bohs was up. His contract was nearly finished and thinks were on a slide. Kenny may or may not have turned it around but his time had come and gone and he looks like he has learned from those mistakes. Kenny was not hounded out.
I still believe the board made the right call regarding Kenny. It was either get rid or extend contract and only one option was realistically going to happen.
However thats were it all went pear shaped and they appointed a tosser in Farrelly who was after a handy near to spend his days seen as he couldnt get a deal anywhere else and this was the least embarassing route for him.
Mahon was hounded out after he dismantled a title winning squad into a complete sham. At one stage we were in the promotion/relegation playoff spot after something like 15 games.
For all this bull**** about managers being hounded about, we have had one of no worse a turnover of managers in the league in the past 16 years then most other clubs.
Nice to see some facts injected into a foot.ie discussion.
Not having a go here, but it does always surprise me that here in internet land all Bohs fans still maintain they were correct to get rid of Kenny.
(I saw most Bohs home games under Kenny and I thought it was a mistake at the time and still do.)
In terms of timing it was the right thing to do in my opinion.
We were struggling to put a run together
It took 7 attempt to win a home league game that season
We lost twice to Dublin City
We got knocked out of Europe by the team who we beat 3-0 only 3 years earlier
Kenny's contract had only a few months left to run. If Farrelly's contract was up this year and not the end of 2007 he'd probably have got sacked 3 months ago.
The mistake IMO was the replacement, not the sacking of Kenny.
No one can argue that Kenny is not a good manager. But he was sacked purely on the basis of his performance at Bohs, which was poor and getting poorer, though perhaps not of Farrelly proportions, and not reflecting the resources that he had.
It would be very useful if boards of management could consider a manager's performance at his next club, post-sacking, but the Bohs board only had his current trends to work on. The team had no drive, no momentum and the spirit was gone. Kenny was tired, and it showed on the field and most transparently in post-match interviews. Club and manager both needed a change. It did Kenny good, and good luck to him. It didn't help the club because of the ill-advised appointment that followed, but, with a bit of luck on our side too, that may be about to change.
Fully endorsed.
