He's got no hair but we don't care

i was talkin to Jimmy Mull in the East Village in douglas last night. He said he's about a week away from starting training. He was up in Dublin at the weekend and he got the all clear.

he admitted that we're very strong up front, so it begs the question: How's he going to break into the side?
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

Lads it's a long season and JO'F is going to start getting some serious attention from defenders, especially those playing for Dublin clubs. (especially those who played for a Cork club up to recently, and are not the fastest or the most skillful!!!... )
We have a really decent squad now, with the players to fill most tactical formations. It's up to Gunther to make the best use of the squad and pick the right team for each game, and most of all, make the right decisions during the game.
If Jimmy gets his form back, we have a major asset either on the bench, or to start in a particular situation.
Personally, I'll be delighted to see him back.......

I dunno if jimmy will break into the team at the mo, but he is a great guy to have on the bench. Always gives 100%, I don't think we have seen the best of him yet.

Even the best strike forces don't play every game in every season. He's good cover to have and at least this season he will have some good players to link with up front.
The challenge is there to himself and Colin 2 to break into the team. The two of them most of thought they were sorted after the departure of the three boys at the end of last season...

Whats Jimmy done to ruffle your feathers?!!

Seriously though, I cant see him getting anywhere near the team, hes a hard working player but IMO he aint in the same class as Georgie, O'Flynn or even CPOB!
