congrats to the Drogs
Drogheda United won the inter 4N division title last night with a hard fought win over Parkvilla in Navan. it wasn't a cracking game by any means but it had a real feel of a cup final with a 'winner takes all' situation at the top of the table.
drogheda were the stronger team throughout and had a great start when the young siebhe collins scored a great opportunists goal early on. a goal keeping error led to an equaliser shortly after. however, the impressive Gerrard got a grip of the game and scored two great goals to finish Parkvilla off. it finished 3-1 and the Drogs celebrated in style into the wee hours.
Drogheda looked strong in the last few games this season and have great plans for developing both on and off the pitch. more of the same next season girls!!
