Should we scrap the Ireland National team

Seeing as most Irish fans support Brittish club football and most of our players play there should we scrap the national team and go for a united Britain Team?

On a sidenote of supporting English teams...

The Man Utd/Liverpool booing Robben/van Persie during the Holland game.. Are they now classed as bigots or is it only bigoted when Celtic fans boo Rangers players?

I dont think we should go down the road of calling for scrapping of anything due to peoples lack of interest. IF that was the case there would be many valid things scrapped in this country.

Im an el fan and an Ireland fan - I dont support a British team atall so why should I lose my team??? Im not surprised so many Cork City fans despise the national team - incredibly fickle

Pablo, Ive seen you on this site a fair few times giving out about how this team doesnt represent you but yet you have no problems supporting Cork City and not all of their players are from Cork!!!

This thread is a total joke

EDIT: Also ever hear of the NLSA??? Its a group of el fans who support Ireland - they dont support Brit teams. And anyway I couldnt cive a sh!t what club somebody supports if they support the national team.

I really don't want to give this idiotic post any more attention but I would have thought that silly wind ups were beyond most of us. Close this thread now.
