you are only a loser when you stop trying. Playing sport does not build character, it reveals it.

Woodview pulled out of the MDL about two years ago and then reentered. They are miles to good for the division they are in and would win the Premier if they were in it now. They have an excellent centre forward and are strong in midfield and centre half. Have a mate in Dundalk and he said they were a better team then St Kevins but then again as is proven most years in the FAI junior the AUL is a very over rated league. From what my mate says Woodview are favourites as Corduff are only a second division side in AUl and that is not a strong league by any means.

On that basis, Woodview are in the 3rd division of the MDL. Im sure if ourselves were in the premier C or sceniro sunday we would probably run away with that in the same manner. Mind you, Shangan seem to be the real deal this season from premier C.

I managed to get the second half of the game against skryne rangers last week and although I didn't see too much to get a good view of Woodview, they were certainly very well organised.

Woodview will be favourites as they have home advantage. It's all on the day.

Considering the two previous winners have been knocked out, and the stronger teams meeting each other, its a model for another two or three pairings to happen again on Sunday morning in the draw.

    These would be interesting

    Clonmel V Killester
"i've tipped these earlier in the comp"

    Pike V Portmarnock

If there were an upset, it could leave the door open for a side to make the final who have never got that far before!

    Interesting year!

    Re: Dr Mad

You'd have a hard time leaving the duff with a result dr mad, we've improved an awful lot since last season, but to be honest it would be great to get you n the last sixteen if we get there, cracking game i thought last season and could have been 4-4 on another day.

we have a tough one sunday against woodview, ok they beat kevins, but that a side they have some decent players, one or two ex LOI and they are one of those on the up sides who can sting anyone.

Then again we are progressive too and it'll be interesting...think the wind is going to ruin games all over the country this weekend.

Grattan beat Peake Villa 2-1 AET yesterday so they're at home to pike. pike should win handy. they're a good side but had peake been on form and had a full squad they would have won. but hey thats cup football. pity a repeat of the munster junior final in 03 would have been nice.

tie of the round has to be clonmel town and killester. town are real strong this season and should win the local league. should be a good one!
