Not a bad draw at all for Derry. Frenchmen being just that will underestimate them, and perhaps they can sneak a 1-0 at home or something like that. I'd like to see the game at Lansdowne but I understand the yearning to stage it at the Brandywell.
URE taking that from their Heineken Cup form?
At first I wanted the tie moved to Dalyer but with the draw I hope we can patch the Brandy up and give PSG a culture shock. Teams can't help but feel intimidated when they play us at the Brandywell and we PSG to feel uncomfortable to stand any chance.
"The Derry fans were fantastic in both matches. They sang their hearts out all the time and created an even better atmosphere than the Cup Final. They were brilliant. - David Graham, Gretna striker

As someone with an interest in French football, I would say PSG are arguably the 2nd or 3rd best team. They had a terrible season (by their standards). They didn't really get going til November and then they came very close to CL places, iirc.
A few highly-talented players there. Dhorasoo is technically a really good player. He was at AC Milan the season before last and was part of the Lyon team under Jacques Santini and then Paul LeGuen. Rothen is probably one of the best left-sided midfielders in Ligue Une, he's veryu fast. Pauleta is Portugal's all time top-scorer and he regularly gets around 20 goals a season. If he gets a chance he's more then likely to finish it easily. They also have Bonaventure Kalou up front who is a big strong forward with plenty of skill and also pace. He's the type of player that terrorises defenders.
Also in the summer they signed Mickael Landreau from Nantes on a free. He's the French number 3 goalie, behind Barthez and Coupet. Nothing to be ashamed of, imo. They also signed Chaouki Ben Saada from Bastia. Still very young, 22 I think, but very talented and lots of potential there. He's a Tunisian international.
It will not be easy.

I would hope it was, to be honest. Certainly when finished, it'll have a decent number of seats and be generally modern. I odn't know the details of their plans, but I'd hope that things like floodlights, which can hold grounds back, would be up to a decent sort of spec.
I was at PSG's first game of the season (they lost 3-2 at home to Lorient). I reckon they will be too strong from Derry but they are no great shakes, just make sure you get plenty of balls into the box and you will cause their shaky defence problems. I was really impressed with the atmosphere in the ground though. Much better than the atmosphere I have experienced at La Liga or Premiership grounds.
