Hope not. I'm watching the hurling on Sunday too. Its likely the Germany match will clash with some big acts cause its in the evening.

What's with all, the crappy new bands? Us old folk will mainly be waving our zimmerframes to New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Gang of Four, Skatalites and Sparks.

Actually since I'd rather not have to hop a fence or dodge security all wekkend if anyone has any tickets for sale pm me and I'll take them. I'm looking for two but whatever's going will do.

I heard they are putting up a big screen so we can the match too though, which would be quality!

Top class weekend - Oxegen doesn't even come close to EP.

    Highlights for me were:
    Alabama 3
    Cut Chemist
    New Order
    Josh Ritter
    Frames (twice)
    Dublin Gospel Choir (twice)

Watching Kilkenny beat Cork in the cinema tent.

    Roll on next year

Good weekend alright, not as good as last year's by any stretch, but still it was good to be knocking around the body and soul area again. Didn't get to much acts, but Cut Chemist, Coldcut, Krafty Kuts, New Order were top quality, Krafty Kuts was the highlight of the weekend for me though. From all accounts I didn't miss much with Belle and Sebastian, Massive Attack were okay (although they were made more enjoyable because I was running around the woods outside at the time trying to jump a fence), and Basement Jaxx and Duke Special were disappointing. Sorry I missed out on SFA and Saul Williams though

Brilliant weekend far more relaxed than the redneck fest more commonly known as Oxegen.
    I saw:
    Pj Harvey (Good)
    Massive Attack (Good)
    Michael Frantini & Spearheads (Excellent)
The Skatalites(Ok but very short set)
    Dj Shadow(Excellent)
    Bloc Party(Good)
    Tapes N Tapes (Ok)
    Yeah Yeah Yeahs(Excellent)
    Basement Jaks(Excellent)

****ed off that I missed Alabama 3,Grove Armada & New Order due to variois reasons. The only bad things that happened were our bus breaking down and halving to wait 2 hrs on the roadside outside Carrick-on-Shannon for a replacement and a cou[le of my mates getting busted by the DS . But all and all a great weekend, and can't wait to net year.
