    UEFA 2nd Leg Predictions?

Well lads, how do ye think we will do tomorrow?

    Head Says:
    Derry 1-0 Gretna
    Drogs 1-1 IK Start

    Heart Says
    Derry 3-0 Gretna
    Drogs 2-0 IK Start

How about Derry dumping Newcastle out in the next round?

Having seen IK Start play in the first leg Im confident Drogs can turn this tie around. Im going for a 1-0 win for Drogs , therefore the match will go to extra time and hopefully Drogs can repeat their performance against HJK Helsinki.

    Then,
Derry to knock out Rangers in another match billed as "British" by Sky and Drogs to get revenge for 1983 on Tottenham.

May as well dream here as when I'm asleep
Hunky Dorys Park - could be worse, we could be going to Old Trafford every other week

I am going with a bold prediction with Derry City to progress. Draw in 2nd leg.

Drogs to lose on away goals after 2-1 victory.

Derry City to get knocked out of the Uefa Cup Round 1.

I don't doubt that we will. Stephen Kenny will not be complacent about this at all.

The derry game will be a cracker to watch, Gretna have to attack right from the start and Derry dont do defensive so they will be attacked as well, a high scoring match ill bet

    Derry City 3-3 Gretna

    Drogs 1-2 Start

Reckon drogs will be caught by Start just playing counter attack football and layin back

Looks like Derry are playing a weakened team but even a weak Derry side should be too strong for the Scottish first division league leaders. I don't think Gretna would survivve in the Eircom Leaue first division. Maybe 1-0 to Derry.

I think Drogheda will probably have too much to do. I predict a 1-1 draw.

It is a pity from the coefficient and league's standings point of view that Derry don't make sure of the win. This is the weakness in the coefficient thoughas a 1-0 win v Gothenborg is worth the same as a 1-0 win over Gretna.

Their wage bill is probably 3 or 4 times what Derry's is and you don't think they'd compete in the first division?

Granted Scottish football ain't great, but Gretna are likely to walk the Scottish first division. I'm all with the argument that the top of the EL is as good as the middle-bottom of the Scots Premier but thats taking it a bit far.

As I've said before, running down Gretna, against all other evidence of their ability unfairly takes away from the magnitude of Derry's win over there.

Not taking anything away from Derry's win. However I rate Derry's 2 leg victory over Gothenborg as probably the best ever win for a team from this island. Gretna are not in that league. The Gretna result doesn't even come close either. Of course it was nice to see a Scottish league club get a record ever home defeat from an Irish side but there are probably only 3 teams in Scotland that would beat Derry over 2 legs and they may well prove me wrong on even that if the draw works out tomorrow.

If the rights to Gretna's league are worth €20 million per year to an Irish tv company what are the rights to our league worth?
