Irish hooligans have many troubles, football, however, is not one of them!

Well actually my Dad is English so no doubt that sometimes shows up in my language usage, however journo is common slang for journalist over here now. You WUM Muppet.

I've never seen Green Street BTW.

Unlike Cork where all the locals are thoroughly splendid people and everybody wants to be your friend.

    What the fcuk ??

As if Dubs haven't been putting 'o' onto the end of abbreviated words for years !! Ever heard of 'The Corpo' for Dublin Corporation ? Or even the slang name for the monument on O'Connell Street : 'The Hypo from the Corpo' ? What about 'compo' for compensations claims ? How about common Dub nicknames like 'Anto', Decko', Philo' etc etc ??

I suspect it's getting out more often that you need to do, full stop - not just going along to football games.

And if your friends are hiding behind crap excuses to avoid going to watch local teams with you, get some new mates.....

Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

In your opening post you said you liked Shels, "I was starting to favour Shelbourne towards the end of last season as I seen them as a good team with a decent following"

You're not very good at this are you

Im very annoyed that very little is being done about this problem by the clubs because its a problem which is growing at a rapid rate especially in Dublin. And i know for a fact this problem has turned some of my friends away from going to certain games and to watch certain clubs. I started attending Eircom League games at the start of last season. I still dont support any team in particular but I was starting to favour Shelbourne towards the end of last season as I seen them as a good team with a decent following.......UNTIL this season a scum element has now starting to attach to the club just like Rovers,Bohs and to a lesser extent Pats. First of all Shamrock Rovers are notorious for this kind of activity and I can see why.....ive seen alot of there games and I see a huge section of there support look and act like Millwall in there hats, stone island, Burberry gear ect and have seen this section cause trouble on quite a few occasions! Bohs have always being playing catch up with Rovers but trust me this season with all the trouble they have been causing they are catching Rovers. Hopefully the right measures have been taking to avoid any trouble this Friday night between them but I doubt that beacause the Gardai and the clubs seem clueless about this sort of thing! I think hooliganism is a major problem and it is keeping the crowds away from the big Dublin games I would like to here sum suggestions of how we can stamp out this problem or else id like sum feed back on how each club is dealing with this problem. Because Rovers,Bohs,Shels and even Pats have a problem.....Whats being done!!!???

Irish Fan, i have to say, whether you know it or not, are completely obvious here. I am going to close this thread for the time being. If anyone has any issue then post in Support.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
