Another good result for us today,.We weren't at the races much today and caherdavin did play well but i think we deserved our win in the end....3 points at the end of the day.....Better result then the last time we played them anyways!!!

I agree with you there Shannonman, ye were poor and to be honest ye didn't deserve the 3 points.

was at the caherdavin game. had nil all written all over it. pitch didnt help any of the teams. the red haired fellow for caherdavin was caught trying fancy stuff in the left back position. how he was still on the pitch at that stage ill never know. was bitching at the ref and own team mates all day. he cost them the game.

summerville are up with that win.

great result for park too. bruff must of underestimated them.

doesn matter how ye win shannonman, at this stage of the season all about the results. looking at league table ye re in a good position joint second.

still all to play for for second place. prob wembley slight favourites cause of game in hand on rest.

Saw it as you did old git. We need the same effort and team for the remaining games if we are to have any hope of staying up

if park stay up it will nearly be as great an achievement as Shannon Town getting promoted. Heres hoping both clubs can do the business for the rest of the season.
you are only a loser when you stop trying. Playing sport does not build character, it reveals it.

some wembley players were at summerville match sunday... as the game went to near finishing they were calling it a great result for them...a draw that is, should it not of being in their interest to hope we beat caherdavin and knock them out of promotion contention... i call it arrogance for them to think their the only team who can catch us at the top!!anyway back to the match.. great result for us... a step closer to premier... and buried the ghost of our 8-2 drubbing back in september!!

Bruff played well I thought, should have had the game under control in the first half but gave away possesion too easily with some poor passing. That said, Park were a match for them, strong at the back and always looked threatening going forward. Bruff keeper made a very bad call to give away Park's first goal. It was anyone's game in the second half I thought.

Bruff were unlucky with a few of the ref's decisions, could easily have had a penalty in the first few minutes (Park had a good claim in the second half too) and don't know how he could have given Park's second goal, he couldn't possibly be able see whether or not it was over the line - can't see it, can't give it.

Regardless of all that, Park looked a completely different team to the last time they played Bruff. Based on what I saw on Sunday they're too good for relegation but it might be too late to escape it. Does anyone know who they've left to play against ?
