Clare supposed to been good. Goals score by David Russell, David Ghilardi (2) and Tom Carmody... (are all these lads Avenue, looks like they are in form for the remainder of the season)

Clare are away to a Dublin lg in the quarter final. 2 Dublin lg's playing each other and Clare travel to play the winners.

So thats CL vs winners of 'UCL V AFL', yeah? UCL = United Churches League, anyone know what AFL stands for?

Any ideas of when this game will be played?

Amateur Football League who based on history and general performance should stroll it.

AFL definitely one of the favourites to win it out this year.
Look up their website www.amateurfootballleague.com - some fairly impressive results against Lg of Ireland opposition in friendlies. (beat Bohs and Wexford Youths narrow losses vs Dundalk and Shels)
Clare will need to step it up a lot from lasst weekend to have any chance up in Dublin.

According to today's Evening Herald junior soccer section, they beat UCL 2-0 at weekend. Theres also a 1/4 page report on CL-Wex match for those interested.

add in the fact that Moher are at home Monday morning V Bridge Utd and at home the following Friday night v Newmarket and you can easily come up with a conspiracy theory

....but seriously it doesn't matter to us the order these games are played as they simply must be played anyway

. We could do with spreading the games out a little. we have 3 games in 7 days that we know of and that will probably continue for the remainder of the season.
